{real wedding} jen + samer's library wedding

When I first came across Jen + Samer's library wedding my jaw hit the keyboard with a quickness. I mean...come on they got married in a LIBRARY! How ridiculously cool is that?!  Here's what Jen had to say about her special day... "The entire event was like a fairy tale.  From the casual dinner with friends at Twenty Eight Degrees in the South End of Boston two nights before the wedding (where we had our first date), to our intimate rehearsal dinner at Marco in Boston's North End and after dinner drinks at Minibar the night before the wedding, to the actual wedding celebration at The Boston Public Library, and on to the very special brunch (complete with a surprise Mariachi Band) the next morning at The Back Bay Social Club - everything was more perfect than we could have dreamed of.  With the help of our parents we were able to experience one of the happiest days of our lives."
"Looking back - the ceremony, in the courtyard of the Library, felt magical.  The speeches, shared by members of our family, were unforgettable.  The flowers, the lighting, and the room were beautiful.  Dinner was amazingly delicious and the dancing was nonstop.  It was a spectacular night."
?One of my favorite details of the wedding were the books we collected for our guests.  We incorporated them into our centerpieces but they were secretly a personally inscribed favor for each guest/couple to take home as a token of our appreciation.  Each book had a special meaning.  In some cases it was the title, in others it was the subject matter, and in still others it was a stamp or an image on the inside cover, that we came across by chance, but just happened to be the right fit.  Each and every book was hand selected and chosen with love and each book, in one way or another, was a reflection of the guest(s) who received it. We were very honored to have so many special people in town to celebrate with us on such an important day in our lives and we wanted to show them how much they meant to us.  Since we were married in a Library incorporating the books seemed to be a perfect idea.  As our guests were seated for dinner, one by one they started to catch on to our little surprise.  It was very touching to watch as they found their books and read the personal note inside. "
"I can not say enough about all the wonderful vendors we worked with.  I would highly recommend each and every one of them - they were, without a doubt, a dream team."
