#236 | Pretty Pastel Wedding Inspiration Board

There's no way avoiding pastels when it comes to Spring. It's soft, inviting and absolutely perfect. I love the speckled egg details in this board and the pale blue pick up beautifully decorated with a floral garland will be the perfect addition to the couple's getaway.

#229 | Vintage Love Letters

I love going back and revisiting past inspiration boards and see if I can update them.  Today I was inspired by  this board that I created a few years ago and added a vintage feel with the beautiful palette and soft petal roses.  The incorporation of the love letters makes this board timeless.

I might be the last person on earth that isn't a fan of red roses and when Valentine's day rolls in a might cringe with overwhelming scene of red roses. To me nothing screams romance like soft petal pink roses.  The turquoise is rich and makes the perfect pair to this bright pinky roses.

I've been working with the color palette for quite sometime and I have to say that I'm so happy with the end result.  I love how the deep poppy red doesn't compete the softness of the light blue.  It's a beautiful airy board perfect for this time of year.

I've been waiting for this time of year to finally share this board with you. Ever since this wedding, I fell in love with a canoe getaway and it sparked my love for woodsy weddings. The warm muted palette, the rustic details and any excuse to decorate the event with faux trophy heads makes me smile.

Isn't this such a pretty palette? {description} I'm continuing share with you some inspiration boards that I recently created for some blogger friends. Today's board was first seen on {Wild & Precious} a few weeks ago.  Being a Jersey girl my summers are usually spent going down the shore walking down the boardwalk, people watching while munching on some of my favorite treats like salt water taffy and cotton candy. I wanted the board to have a bit of a retro feel with soft shades of pastels which makes for a perfect summer palette for all you boardwalk brides.

{description} Who knew creating a destination board about a country I know so well would be so hard? I've been working on this board for over a year now and I think I'm finally happy with it {hey! I'm a bit of a perfectionist}. It has everything I love about my little country except the food which I think needs a post on it's own.  The first thing you see when you're about to land are the clay roof tiles, so you know they needed to be a part of this wedding board.  I also love the idea of old rustic farm tables lined with beautiful and intricate lace or renda where family & friends can gather.  The blue and white china is inspired by the traditional tiles or azulejos seen throughout and no Portuguese table is complete without some wine or vinho.

Nothing beats a backyard wedding especially if it has a fabulous pool to take center stage. Wouldn't it be wonderful to sit pool side with your guests and enjoy a cocktail {or two} and nibble on some finger food in this casual and intimate setting? If it gets too hot you can always jump in...right?
