#239 | Sweet Derby Inspiration Board

The Kentucky Derby is kicking off in a couple of days and I will admit that this isn't my first Derby inspired wedding board.  If you're interested you can see the old ones  here,  here,  here and  here.  Today's board showcases a palette with refreshing and a little surprising.  The combination of the bold teal with the delicate peach make it one of my favorites.

#238 | Spring Serenity Inspiration Board

 

As much we all hate to admit that planning a wedding can be down right stressful.  Today's inspiration board is the complete opposite with it's serene and relaxing color palette of pale green and worn washed-out wood.  It's spring so take a minute to take in the new season and just breathe.

#237 | Spring Garden Inspiration Board

Even though today's inspiration board has a super soft palette it screams Spring.  If you're a daily P&P reader you probably figured out that I love casual outdoor weddings, they just sing to me with their gorgeous  outdoor pews to the appearance of furry friends.

 

#236 | Pretty Pastel Wedding Inspiration Board

There's no way avoiding pastels when it comes to Spring. It's soft, inviting and absolutely perfect. I love the speckled egg details in this board and the pale blue pick up beautifully decorated with a floral garland will be the perfect addition to the couple's getaway.

#235 | Spring Sunshine Inspiration Board

 The last couple of days has been the greyest of greys. So I wanted to bring a little Spring sunshine to P&P.  I'm a huge fan of bright yellow paired with soft pinks and greens. It's such a fun color palette and will definitely brighten up any event.

 

#234 | Spring Bulbs Inspiration Board

 

Happy Spring! For today's inspiration board I wanted it to be fresh with a palette of bright whites and smoky gray. This is a nice palette to transition into the new season.  I'm loving the assorted blooms all in white and newspaper bundled bulbs make for the perfect favor.

 

#233 | Tale as Old as Time Inspiration Board

I have to admit that I'm super excited to share with you today's board.  If you couldn't tell from the post title it's based on my favorite childhood movie, The Beauty and the Beast.  The live action movie is coming out later this week and I wanted to pay a little homage to Belle and the gang.

The golden hour is pure magic! Photographers love shooting during this time to achieve a soft and glowing images. I wanted to use that as my inspiration for today's board.  Delicate shades of peach and blush with a rich coppery hue.  Super romantic.

#229 | Vintage Love Letters

I love going back and revisiting past inspiration boards and see if I can update them.  Today I was inspired by  this board that I created a few years ago and added a vintage feel with the beautiful palette and soft petal roses.  The incorporation of the love letters makes this board timeless.

#228 | Blue Valentine

I might be the last person on earth that isn't a fan of red roses and when Valentine's day rolls in a might cringe with overwhelming scene of red roses. To me nothing screams romance like soft petal pink roses.  The turquoise is rich and makes the perfect pair to this bright pinky roses.

#227 | Delicate Dogwood

Even though Pantone named Greenery as their color of the year, I have to admit that I'm crushing really hard on Pale Dogwood. It's soft, romantic and the perfect hue for a spring weddings.

Last week I was revisiting some old posts and I can't believe that P&P has been up since 2009.  So I came across this board that I created six years ago and want to revamp it a bit and bring it into 2017. Warm buttery leather paired with soft blue will make and laid-back couple swoon.

#225 | Blood Orange + Smoky Grey

Blood oranges are not visually beautiful but delicious as well.  Their ruby red flesh make for an unusual but exciting winter wedding inspiration and the smoky gray balances it all.
