#236 | Pretty Pastel Wedding Inspiration Board

There's no way avoiding pastels when it comes to Spring. It's soft, inviting and absolutely perfect. I love the speckled egg details in this board and the pale blue pick up beautifully decorated with a floral garland will be the perfect addition to the couple's getaway.

I have to admit that I'm super excited to share with you today's board.  If you couldn't tell from the post title it's based on my favorite childhood movie, The Beauty and the Beast.  The live action movie is coming out later this week and I wanted to pay a little homage to Belle and the gang.

#227 | Delicate Dogwood

Even though Pantone named Greenery as their color of the year, I have to admit that I'm crushing really hard on Pale Dogwood. It's soft, romantic and the perfect hue for a spring weddings.

Whoa! I can't believe that today I'll share with you my 200th inspiration board. It's inevitable that brown is the heavyweight champ for the number one spot in autumn palettes. Sure, it can be used year round but it just feels right this time of year. Paired with soft lavender and pretty details makes this one of my favorite boards to date.

A few weeks ago I guest blogged over at {Anastasia Marie} and shared this board with her readers.  That breathtaking Lake Como image was what kicked off today's inspiration board. I instantly fell in love with it and my head began spinning with so many ideas. I began picturing a dreaming estate with views to the lake, of course! during the harvesting of the grapes. It's warm, soft and romantic everything a wedding should be!

{description} I wanted to create a something that both soon to be sister-in-laws will adore.  I’m a big fan of intimate outdoor weddings and I pictured salvaged windows as a seating chart leaning against an old tree to direct the guests to canopied tables tucked away in the garden. Sprigs of lavender make their appearance in many ways – to the simple boutonnière, refreshing signature drink and in the landscape. {description} a few months ago my dear friend lydia asked if i would create an inspiration board for her friend shana who is getting married next fall.  lydia basically told me that the bride has been collecting antique china and especially loves blue and white china.   the bride is also a fan of purple and lydia suggested a softer shade of lavender would be better with the blue and white china pieces.  the couple wants to include asian elements in their wedding with charming paper cranes and cherry blossoms.  i cannot wait to see the final result of shana's wedding.

{description} i had this board in the back burner for quite some time now and i thought it was finally time for it's debut. i fell in love with the images of the four young ladies wearing those gorgeous wool coats and white tights and thought that it was a great look that bridesmaids can mimic for chilly winter weddings. the softness of the color palette also adds a sense of coziness to the board and at the end of the night the combination of delicious hot cocoa and charming hand warmers will definitely keep your guests nice and toasty for the ride home.

{description} for this inspiration board i want to step away from the typical orange and black combo that is usually associated with halloween. i chose a richer color palette of candy apple red with hints of  purple and black. even though there is no pumpkin in sight you still get the feel of a darker but sexier halloween wedding especially when you sprinkled in some of the elements of the holiday like the spooky candy apples for you and your guests to munch as a midnight snack.
