ReplyDeleteVery cute blog! I just got married about 6 months ago (THIS Friday!), and we are looking for a centerpiece for our cake!
Because my wedding is going to be held at a Rustic Lodge, I'd have to choose red velvet with creme cheese icing to go along with the some what southern rustic charm. It's classic and delicious- and would look BEAUTIFUL on this stand!
ReplyDeletei'd put chocolate cake with chocolate frosting on it. is there even any other option?

ReplyDeleteFor our wedding this October, we are serving a flourless chocolate cake. It's rustic and homey, which would look great inside our reception hall -- a century barn!
ReplyDeleteCheers,

ReplyDeleteI would (and am going to!) have my future-mother-in-law bake her homemade chocolate cake with "Grandma Chadwick's frosting" (as it's called in my fiance's family,) for our wedding!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely thing! I would probably perch a gorgeous peach pie upon it...or something else suitably rustic. :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a creative look. This stand would only motivate me to make an angel food cake with fluffy white icing and strawberries on top:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity!
Love this! I'm a traditional wedding cake gal. The cakestand is adorable- would be perfect for our June 24th Swamp wedding!
ReplyDeleteAlso liked P&P on facebook! Hope this increases my chances ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful stand! I would have a honey buttercream cake for me and my honey!
ReplyDeleteI love this stand! For our wedding, my husband's groom cake emulated a tree stump. This would have been perfect on it, but how fun would this be for a spring party as well! Although red velvet and cream cheese is our favorite, I would want to experiment with a marble berry, vanilla and buttercream cake....yum!
ReplyDelete- Katie O'Keefe
I love this cake stand! OMG! Seriously, IN love with it! I plan to use a lot of wood and burlap at my wedding and this would be amazing to have! I am hoping that despite what my family may think, that I will be able to have a Funfetti flavored cake (yes, the kind with sprinkles in the batter). I have had a funfetti cake at every single major event in my life (birthdays, graduations, new jobs, etc.) so why would this be any different! Just tweeted about the contest (@HoneyBeeInvites)! Hope i win!
ReplyDeleteFirst up would be my coconut layer cake on this stand!
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteI am a follower. Have been for a while now actually. I wish I could give you a cake flavor. Unfortunately I cannot because if I were to win this delightful rustic cake stand it would be given as a pre-wedding gift to my brothers fiance. Her wedding theme is an outdoor rustic with bright punches of color. She would adore this. Hope this explanation works in place of a cake flavor. :)
Thanks for the great offer,
Shanna
