{friday faves} vintage windows

Happy Friday friends!
Over Memorial Day weekend my cousins and I were driving home and came across a little antique shop on the side of the road. After spotting it we did a quick u turn and headed inside. It was the size of a bathroom and 90% of it was junk so we headed back to the car and what did I spot toward the back of the building? A few dozen old window leaning against the building. I quickly ohh & ahh and my cousins looked at me like a lost my mind. I tried to explain that these old windows can be used multiple ways in weddings.  Later that night I searched the web for some idea. Here are a few of my faves...

Even though majority of the shop items were useless, I did pick up this fenton hobnail perfume bottle. Unfortunately the topper was missing but it was just to pretty to pass up.
Have a great weekend!!

  2. I am using this idea! I had my FMIL on the look and she found 2 old barn windows on the side of the road. They are so dirty but hopefully with lots of windex, sanding and new paint they will look beautiful! Thanks for all of the inspiration!

  17. Hello There,
First, this comment has nothing to do with post.
Second, I have been inspired by you and other crafty bloggers to make my own wedding bouquet.
I'm planning on experimenting with a variety of fabrics before I make my final decision, but this is my first prototype. http://missyellowshoes.blogspot.com/2011/06/wedding-diy-bouquets.html
Would you just let me know what you think? Any constructive criticism or advice would be awesome!
Thanks for you time and happy Friday!
