The golden hour is pure magic! Photographers love shooting during this time to achieve a soft and glowing images. I wanted to use that as my inspiration for today's board.  Delicate shades of peach and blush with a rich coppery hue.  Super romantic.

{pretty palette} lavender + stone

I had the great pleasure to guest blog over at Love & Lavender last week and I shared with Aileen + Ellen's readers this soft palette of lavender and stone.  Everything from the dried lavender bouquet to that gorgeous calligraphy makes for one romantic wedding.

{#190} bee mine

I created this board last year for Megan of {Forget me Knot Weddings} and it still is one of favorites. I wanted to create something that still remained true to Valentine's Day but with a little twist.  Love its clean and modern color palette of yellow, cream and taupe.  These bright and cheerful colors also reminds me that Spring is just around the corner.

{#182} winter shimmer

Back in January I guest blogged for Melissa over at {The Loveliest Day} and featured this Winter Shimmer board with her lovely readers.  I never got a chance to share here on P&P until today. Everything looks prettier when it sparkles…don’t ya think? Who doesn’t love a festive and glamorous winter wedding. You don’t typically associate rich delicious brown as a winter color but when combined with bronze, gold and hints of silver can convince any winter bride to consider this palette for her own wedding.   Ornaments can be your best friend when it comes to decorating for your winter wedding. By scattering metallic and glass ornaments around the tables {or staircase} will instantly add color and interest to your event.

{#181} love and gratitude

Happy Monday! It's going to be one busy week for me and posting is going to be on the light side because of Thanksgiving. I wanted to create a board to celebrate the season. The board needed to be comfortable and casual but refined.  Hints of wheat in the decor and boutonnieres make it extra special.

{#176} love cabin

Do you all remember {Picnic Week} a few months ago? Well I mentioned last week on Twitter & Facebook that this would be another theme week.  The next few days will be filled with rustic woodsy inspiration that I hope you'll will love. I've been waiting for this time of year to finally share this board with you. Ever since this wedding, I fell in love with a canoe getaway and it sparked my love for woodsy weddings. The warm muted palette, the rustic details and any excuse to decorate the event with faux trophy heads makes me smile.

{#174} lovely lake como

A few weeks ago I guest blogged over at {Anastasia Marie} and shared this board with her readers.  That breathtaking Lake Como image was what kicked off today's inspiration board. I instantly fell in love with it and my head began spinning with so many ideas. I began picturing a dreaming estate with views to the lake, of course! during the harvesting of the grapes. It's warm, soft and romantic everything a wedding should be!

Who says all autumn wedding have to be typically orange, red or yellow? I'm obsessed with this white washed palette...love the white pumpkins, the neutral bridesmaids and who wouldn't love a gingham clad groom?

{#171} denim + squash

How was everyone's weekend? Good I hope. I'm so happy to share this board with you today because it was really fun to put together. For the past few weeks I've been itching to feature autumn boards. Isn't this such a pretty palette? The rich blue paired with the light tan has to be my favorite color combination. I love the casualness of denim clad grooms and golden touches, don't you?  Oh and I'm on the hunt for blue pumpkins this year!

{#168} european romance

{colors} pink, linen, cocoa
{description} Back in July I had the honor to guest blog for Jacin of {Lovely Little Details} and created a sweet board that was inspired by romantic European villages. This inspiration board is so inviting with its soft color palette and vintage details.  It might look pretty minimal, but that's what makes it oh so charming. Pretty fabric pouches add color and pattern to the table when positioned along side each place setting while delicious baguette bundles double up as centerpieces.

{#165} cappuccino bella

{destination} Italy
{colors} cappuccino, pistachio, cream
{description} A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure to guest post for my dear friend Kristi {Luna & Chloe Weddings} while she was away. I created this wedding board inspired by my love of Italy and its delicious cappuccino.  Just the word alone is romantic and has me swooning.  The soft coffee color is warm and inviting just like the beverage and plays nicely with the pistachio too!

{#153} golden summer

{colors} warm yellow, sand, ecru
{description} I wanted to create a different beach inspired board without the typical seashells or a blue color palette. Yellow is such a happy color, don't you agree?  I especially love this warm golden yellow that is more sophisticated than its brighter counterpart. I love simple details too and keeping things minimal for this wedding like sweet photo centerpieces showcasing the couples memories together makes me smile. You know what else makes me smile, that gorgeous yellow dress blowing in the wind. Swoon!

{#145} lovely lavender

{colors} lavender, linen, white
{description} I wanted to create a something that both soon to be sister-in-laws will adore.  I’m a big fan of intimate outdoor weddings and I pictured salvaged windows as a seating chart leaning against an old tree to direct the guests to canopied tables tucked away in the garden. Sprigs of lavender make their appearance in many ways – to the simple boutonnière, refreshing signature drink and in the landscape. I also love the use of delicate lace, lavender gingham and vintage French linens in this board. {first seen on Love & Lavender}

{description} Earlier in the week, I had the pleasure to guest blog over at Marry you me and created this inspiration board to celebrate Annie's recent move to England. {#140} rustic chic

{colors} hay, brown burlap, warm peach
{description} i mixed rustic farmhouse details with hints of sparkle.  since the board is mostly ivory and brown I selected a soft and warm muted peach to add a subtle pop of color. consider skipping traditional centerpieces and hang vintage crystal chandeliers and mix up the seating with upholstered chair and hay bail seating to create a unique lounge for guests.  {first seen on sparkle & hay}
