{good eats} in a jar

This has to be my favorite post for {Picnic Week} and yes it's about food!!!
Of course I love desserts in a jar but I'm also loving  bbq, chili or salad in a jar too! Isn't this such a great idea for picnics?

Would your jar be filled with something sweet or savory?

{shoot} sun-filled picnic for two

Q. What do you get when four incredibly talented people get together for an impromptu shoot that was planned 24 hours before?  This gorgeous sun-filled picnic for two that is.  Shot by Andre of {Brancoprata} with the styling of his partner Sofia and New Zealand natives Kate of {Ruby & Willow} and Steph from {Bubblerock Studios}.  The group headed out to a local park and took advantage of the New Zealand sunshine.

{#144} spring picnic

{colors} peach, celery green, buttermilk
{description} So how do you like {Picnic Week} so far? You know there had to be an inspiration board right? The palette for this board is cheerful and fun and it totally reminds me of spring. How great is the chalkboard paint on your glasses idea and since your outside who won’t love a game of croquet? Too casual for your wedding, consider this board for a rehearsal dinner or even your bridal shower.

picnics from a-z

If we decorate our spaces when we're having a party at home, why can't we {A}dorn our picnic area with some cute bunting?  Picnic {B}askets, there are so many to choose from, I prefer the classic wicker ones. {C}hampagne ...enough said!
Of course we can't forget {D}esserts especially pie. You can't have a picnic without pie right? I also love these {E}co friendly utensils. My picnic {F}ood of choice is a sandwich, they're portable and easy to eat.
Bring some {G}ames such as scrabble, chess and cards. {H}and sanitizer is a must, I love this one with a holder that can easily be clipped to the basket handle.  I know I mentioned desserts before but I consider {I}ce cream it's own category. yum!
Mason {J}ars are my "cup" of choice for sipping your favorite drink and it has a lid that won't spill when it's tipped over. I love these coloful {K}nives with a protective sheaths...safety first friends. If your planning on sticking around to catch the sunset, don't forget some {L}anterns.
{M}usic!!!! I love these cloth {N}apkins, they have a great pattern and no one wants to chase around flying paper napkins when the wind decides to blow them every which way. Can anything be more perfect than having {O}cean views while picnicking?
{P}illows and {Q}uilts make your picnic area nice and comfortable enough to sit back and {R}elax with a good book.
Shelter is something that most people don't consider. It's never a bad idea to set up your picnic area under a {S}hade tree, {S}imple umbrella, make {S}hift tent or a {S}weet canopy.
{T}hermos are great for keeping coffee and soups hot especially for autumn picnics.  I know we are getting to the end of the list and you're probably thinking you're going to need some {U}pper arm strength to carry everything. When everything is unpacked don't to forget to enjoy each others company and take in a little {V}itamin D because if the sun is shining there is no reason to stay indoors.
Consider the {W}eather because no one likes to be caught in the rain...or do they for a little {X}oxo?  Well all this has me {Y}awning and now I think I'm going to catch some {Z}zzzzzzz.

{real wedding} vanessa + atiq

When I first saw Vanessa + Atiq's elopement I knew it would be perfect for P&P and couldn’t wait to share it with you fine folks.  This adorable couple decided to marry themselves by exchanging their own personal vows by the Cheeseman Park’s roman columns and Melissa from {Fresh in Love Photography} was there to capture it all.
After the vows, they had a picnic with a mini Italian cream cheese wedding cake adorn with a handmade cake topper that Vanessa created and some champagne...
Vanessa always romanticized being whisked away on a horse drawn carriage when she got married...
