if your looking for relaxed diy wedding ideas, today is your day. jocelyn + curtis’ wedding comes from {brooke courtney photography} and the bride along with her sister and bridesmaids made practically everything from the floral bouquets to the décor.
here’s what jocelyn had to say about her color selection for the wedding “curtis and I are trying to keep things simple, but we have picked colors. curtis and i met studying in cortona, italy, where there are massive fields of sunflowers, so our colors are the yellow of the sunflower petals, the brown of their centers, the blue of the sky behind them and a pale green which references their stems (we are using a light green because green hydrangeas will be used in the bridal bouquets). curtis and i are both very visual (i am a book artist/printmaker/dancer/ choreographer and he is a landscape architect who enjoys graphic design and photography), so colors are one of the things that we are the most excited about! “
one wedding guest brought them these two dinosaur key chains because jocelyn + curtis are absolutely in love them, apparently their ny apartment is full of dinosaur art and collectables.
congrats to jocelyn + curtis!!
