{engagement} janell + brian

i’ve been itching to share with you this gorgeous engagement shoot sent by kateri at {bellezza photography}.  since the couple wanted a vintage WWII inspired shoot and with brian being a air force pilot and all, kateri suggested the uss lexington {does it sound familiar? the movie pearl harbor was shot on this retired warship} for the location which made janell extremely happy because that where brian proposed a year ago during one of her weekend visits.
janell styled around a vintage birdcage veil headpiece she found on ebay and brian's styling was courtesy of the united states air force!

    I love this theme, and they are an adorable couple! I think every military bride/wife wants a shoot like this... me too!

    I am speechless! And that doesn't happen very often. I think this has to be one of my new faves!! Everything is perfect - the styling, location, details, pics - everythin!! So classic and creative. Love it. Almost as much as I love you :-) hehe...and that's a lot!!!

    Beautiful. But it looks like he's a Marine, not Air Force. I recognize the Alpha dress uniform (which is a great uniform!).

    It looks like it's an Army Air Corps uniform, the WWII Air Force equivalent.
