happy friday friends!!!
i must admit that i adore bird cage veils as much as everyone out there but i'm really happy to see that long veils are making a come back. there is something so classic and romantic about these lengthy veils especially when paired with a lovely floral crown, tied at the nape of the neck or simple wrapped around a couple while embracing.

so, let's here it...
do you prefer a short or long veil?
Short veils are really in right now and I do think they are very cute but how often do you get to wear a long gorgeous veil, only once. I think long veils are timeless and beautiful, love how they blow in the wind!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I love how the first bride knotted it on the side.
ReplyDeleteI been seeing a lot of long veils recently. I wonder if most brides would prefer long veils or birdcages... or both! I guess the important part is that they feel special on their wedding day!
ReplyDeleteOh and the images you posted are gorgeous!!!
OMG favorite post ever! i LOVE every single one!
ReplyDeletethose are all so gorgeous! :)
ReplyDeletei love the romantic feel of a long veil but i'd prob wear a birdcage veil. it would go better with a vintage dress :)
xx
Love that the long veil is making a come back too! I personally went with a birdcage (before they were so popular). But if I didn't go with that, I would have gone total opposite on the spectrum and done a gorgeous long veil like these! Agree, total romance overload!
ReplyDeleteThat third Elizabeth Messina image...WOW!! I like long veils as well as birdcage. It all depends on the bride's personality and as Sofia put it, whatever makes the bride feel gorgeous on her wedding day!
ReplyDeleteI love the long veils for ceremony and pictures - I wore a cathedral for my ceremony and changed into a backwards birdcage for the reception :)
ReplyDeletePretty! Almost makes me want to go for a veil xx
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE long veils, especially styled this way! I do have a soft spot for birdcage veils, but I think it's all about the right veil for the dress!
ReplyDeleteno. 4 is so swoon-worthy.
ReplyDeleteWhat great picks! I especially ADORE #4.
ReplyDeletethey are ridiculously pretty!!! No 5 is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteChris these are all gorgeous. I love long veils...this is a gorgeous, gorgeous post!
ReplyDeleteLong veils get my vote (and your lovely pics here only reinforce that)! They can truly glam up an otherwise very simple wedding gown and frame the bride beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThese images are so romantic and I adore that 20's vintage style veil. Thrilled it's made a comeback. Bravo on finding such prettiness.
