happy friday friends!
for me nothing beats the warm scent of fresh baked bread. i would
be in heaven if i attended a wedding with a bread bar…oh can you imagine all
the possible carb goodness? soooooo good!
if a bread bar is not for your liking why not use a crusty
baguette as a place setting, a rustic centerpiece or have them out for your
guests to take home as favors.
not a baguette lover? how about some chewy bagels, salty pretzels, buttery croissants or crispy breadsticks as alternatives?

today is the last day to enter...
I've died and gone to carb-heaven...baguettes as placecards? genius! And I have to agree with you, the smell of freshly baked bread is the best smell on the planet. NO contest.
ReplyDeletei love that bread truck image! my favorite dinner is a loaf of french bread, some brie or blue, and a bottle of wine :)
ReplyDeletehappy friday chris!
Oh. Wow. Why did I have to see this right before lunch?! This is my wildest carb dream coming true.
ReplyDeleteDelicious! What a fun round-up. I am the biggest bread snob you might ever meet so this tickled my fancy! :) {A}
ReplyDeleteYou are right, a bread bar would be incredible!! Especially if it included an array of infused olive oils and balsamic vinegar! Now... I am starving!
ReplyDeleteBest idea ever! Bread, olive oils and flavored butters...who needs dessert?
ReplyDeleteOh, sweet delicious bread! I agree, it's the best dessert bar EVER! Just imagine a spread of chocolate croissants, palmiers, almond cakes at a brunch wedding-swoon!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness bread is my weakness and all of these photos have made my mouth water. Especially that last photo. So perfect!

ReplyDeleteOooh, yummy! That is so rustic, and could be a possibility for my wedding! Yesterday, I came up with an idea gift bags--fresh fruit! Perhaps a basket or lovely arrangement--like Harry & David style. It is going to be at a fruit farm after all :)
ReplyDeleteMmm bread. I had an Italian bride send me pics of her wedding where there was a BREAD BAR! Coolest thing ever.

You really can't argue with the simplicity and the practicality of rustic bread with a simple kraft paper tag. It looks amazing.
