{engagement} catherine + mike

couldn't wait to share this sweet engagement shoot with all of you. I simply squealed when I first saw it and know you're going to love it too. Catherine and Mike wanted to incorporate the truck “Tanny” in their engagement shoot because they had a long distance relationship for most of the time. The truck also was used to move Mike across the country when they were finally reunited.
Why all the oranges you ask? They wanted the shoot to have a “farmers selling their wares in a truck on the side of a farm feel” and also the couple is set to get married in Orange, VA.

About Catherine’s ring… Mike had his great grandmother Clara’s ring melted down and added a new diamond and garnets {her birthstone}. The side of the ring mimics the design of the trellis Mike built and proposed under.
