{friday faves} ruffle cake

Happy Friday friends!!! 
 This post is dedicated to my little niece who turns 4 today!! Yay!! Last week she personally called me to invite me to her birthday party. This is how the conversation started...
Me: Hello
Niece: Titi?
Me: Hi babycakes {my nickname for her}
Niece: What's up girlfriend?

LOL did I mention she's turning 4!! How stinkin' cute is she?  
 ok back to the post.....
You've probably noticed my love of ruffles in my inspiration board and shoe picks but now my obsession has joined forces with another favorite of mine. CAKE! How fabulous are these ruffle cakes? Aren't they soooooooooo pretty? I know my niece would love them too!!

If you're adventurous and want to create your own ruffle cake, check out this video tutorial from {Sweet & Saucy}.   Looks pretty easy but I think I'll leave it to the pros.

    I didn't think that MY love for ruffles could grow and fonder, but you just made it happen. If I could go back to my wedding day, my cake would have been a ruffle-haven just as these beautiful cakes are! Love them!
