{real wedding} michelle + colby's victorian porch wedding

My love for porch weddings continue with Michelle + Colby’s wedding. An intimate autumn courtyard wedding was followed by a cocktail hour on the front porch of the McKenzie House, an 1885 Victorian home located at the Sweetwater Branch Inn, a bed and breakfast in Gainesville, Florida.  The reception followed inside the house where the couple’s love of orchids was found throughout the Inn
From Michelle, the bride: Colby and I painted clay pots orange and our florist used them for our orchid centerpieces.  Our venue, the beautiful and inviting Sweetwater Branch Inn, provided a unique opportunity for our closest friends and family to enjoy our wedding weekend with us.

  3. oh MY. they are totally lovely...i'm completely ambivalent about Victorian and modern style...they're like...opposites, but i want them both in my life bigtime.

  4. ahhh, a porch wedding - so sweet and romantic. I loved the venue. Reminds me of our wedding venue - it was on the grounds of a historic B&B and had a wrap around porch and a staircase just like that one.
