{friday faves} long veils
happy friday friends!!!
i must admit that i adore bird cage veils as much as everyone out there but i'm really happy to see that long veils are making a come back. there is something so classic and romantic about these lengthy veils especially when paired with a lovely floral crown, tied at the nape of the neck or simple wrapped around a couple while embracing.

{real wedding} tiffany + paul
when i came across this wedding captured by taryn and shelby of {joielala photographie} on my facebook news feed, i knew i had to feature it on p&p. here's what taryn had to say about tiffany + paul's special day: we loved shooting this wedding! tiffany & paul are such a happy and easy going couple who just wanted to have fun and celebrate their love for each other. the colors and florals tiffany choose were stunning. we loved the cute ruffled flowergirl dresses, tiffany's bouquet was gorgeous and the dessert table was to die for!
from the bride... i wanted muted romantic colors. i wanted a simple wedding with little fuss. i wanted to eat MEXICAN food. i was tired of weddings with chicken.. i wanted to walk own a isle that was lit by candles and stand under a arch that was full of succulents and hanging vines . i chose to do a candy bar because i love deserts . i wanted more of a classic wedding dress. i wanted to look back in pictures and not look dated. i wanted to be different from other brides who wear strapless dresses. i really just wanted to celebrate our love for one another. we gathered our family and friends and planed on having a great time. i loved how it tuned out and i could not have asked for a better night.
