{friday faves} protea

happy friday friends!!
i first came across these super large blooms when i worked afternoons in my local florist back when i was in school.  i was shocked when many brides would turn down this dramatic tropical bloom for their centerpiece, but times have changed and i'm happy to see the protea flower is making its way into today's weddings.
