i love everything about this wedding... the diy touches,
the gorgeous couple and that venue is absolutely to die for. the bride, kristen enlisted the help of her
family to create all of the wedding decorations- the hanging moss balls to the
wood-burned centerpieces. kristen
enjoyed crafting for her wedding so much that she’s planning on opening an etsy
shop. here are some more details from kristen:“It was a total DIY wedding! We made all of our
own decorations. It was kind of my own inspiration and what I had seen on a
couple of blogs. My cake was made by my aunt (tasted amazing!!!), catering done
by my other side of the family, and all the bouquets were made by my other
aunt, the wedding planner. “
As for my favorite moments... "I think we had the best time
the day before the wedding when we were actually decorating the barn. My bridesmaids were all there helping me, and although it was 20 degrees in the
barn, we had so much fun! We drank Starbucks, blasted Ray Lamontagne and just
decorated and laughed together the entire time. It was a good time for my
girlfriends to finally be back together again because some live out of state.
Simple, but lovely. "
my favorite shot...
congrats to kristen + andrew!!
