{#132} sweet maple

{destination} vermont
{colors} maple, burnt orange, white
{description} this time of year always makes me want to drive up to vermont and visit their famous sugarhouses and watch the process of syrup making {ha! more like sampling}. it had me thinking that it could make for a great inspiration board for those winter brides looking for something different and maybe a little sweeter too ;) the rich and golden palette of warm maple and orange is balanced out with crisp white. can't you just picture some dreamy shots of the couple with a foggy backdrop thanks to the steam coming from the sugerhouses? i can...but i must admit that i love the look of thick stockings for the girls and doesn't the galvanized cake plate reminds you of the sap buckets too?

  10. This board is absolutely lovely but I'm going to focus on the maple snow candy you pictured in the top right. Umm, hello deliciousness, where have you been all my life? Did you read that recipe? Dying over here. I must try this! There is definitely no snow near me but blenders and ice work well too :)
