{shoot} bride of green gables

i received this gorgeous shoot from alicia from {bows & arrows deluxe} and i had such a difficult time picking through all the images that i had to feature a lot more than usual.  i’ll let alicia tell you all about it… “Like something from my favorite storybook as a young girl, our photoshoot captures the innocence of a young bride, gathering a few of her favorite belongings and using them to create an effortless, intimate wedding affair in her own pasture. Every detail is based on timeless vintage pieces from an era long gone, but never forgotten.”
“Freshly gathered floral arrangements bountiful in heirloom fruits such as tomatillos, citrus, and raspberries with blooms gathered straight from the fields“
“Authentic vintage place settings, complete with 1940’s head vases bursting with a white duchess peony, burlap wrapped silverware atop antique napkins, and a delicious heirloom bosc pear place card holder sat atop a table strewn with antique bridal lace.”
“Original cameras, radios, fans, lamps and baroque baubles circa 1930-1940 gave a nod to things of old and timeless romance.
“A lovely cake wrapped with a fondant bow and dressed with delicate sugar lace piping. Delicate, sweet, and organic invitations and place cards set the tone for a family gathering that is charming and laidback.”
"Add trunks, old hat boxes,  suitcases and I can see the heroin from my favorite book as a child... Anne. Anne of Green Gables, in front of her lovely green couch holding her luscious bridal bouquet, resplendent with fluffy white cotton, blooming ranunculus, all tied with an vintage ribbon and trim... and waiting for her own storybook ending."

  9. There is so much attention to detail in this shoot that I could just go on & on about the scene they have created! Tomatillos though?! That is genius! The stationery is lovely too! This comes at a great time for me, because "Anne of Green Gables" is next in line for my Netflix queue! Glad to see other people love this story as much as I always have :)
