Kathlyn
and Dan are both quite outdoorsy. They travelled the world together {literally} and have slept under the stars of many countries together. They both love the
ocean and surfing. They're extremely romantic and very much in love. They
pictured their wedding as a no-fuss elopement and only invited their closest
loved ones.
Most
of the wedding was put together by their friends and family. The wedding was
really small—about 25 people. It was just their closest friends and family.
Their friends played music for the wedding and everyone sang along at one
point. The place-cards were made using sand dollars collected at Ocean Beach
by Kathlyn and Dan's apartment in San
Francisco . They had a wish-tree instead of a
guestbook. Guests would write their wishes for the new couple and hang their
wishes on the tree.
For the seating cards, Kathlyn and Dan collected sand dollars at the beach near their home in San Francisco.

Okay, I LOVE how intimate this wedding is! Her hairpiece is insanely gorgeous, and I love the place settings! Thinking back to my own wedding, if I could change one thing, I'd probably change... everything. And what I mean is, I'd have an entirely more intimate affair: smaller, cozier location, less formal, less 'hoopla', etc. I love that this couple did it right!
ReplyDeleteDreamy! Love the shot of the couple standing in the ocean with her blue shawl catching the breeze, and the light is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness, I'm in love. How cool is that bride to wear flowers in her hair for the ceremony and then a fedora for the reception/dinner. So cool. I love her mustard yellow sweater and turquoise wrap...my favorite colors:) This is exactly the kind of wedding I wish i had been invited to!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love this!! Her hairpiece is amazingly gorgeous and I love the intimacy of it all!

ReplyDeleteHot damn, that's a great linen jacket on the groom. So dashing! And that 79 VW bus is LOVE <3
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love, love!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis wedding is just dreamy perfection to me!! I love the fact that it was small and intimate ~ for some reason it just makes it that much more special! The B&G really have time to spend with each one of their guests, and their guests are there because they are important or special...no because they need to be invited! Also, so sweet that they collected the sand dollars themselves. And I love how the bride bundled up because it was chilly ;-)))
